This is my angel Mira. Mira was shot in the head by a drone in August 2024 when she came into the emergency department where I was able to save her life so she could receive surgery. She is a miracle, but she should NEVER have been shot. There are thousands of children like her in G@za and many are not as fortunate to have survived.#instagram #momsofinstagram #momlife #babiesofinstagram

One of countless mothers that I met in Gaza. Sami’s mother, the boy whose face was ripped off by shrapnel. I took this photo over a year ago, but these atrocities still continue.
Thank you to all those who have helped bring Mira and her family to safety. They can finally start to rebuild their life.
Mira was just four when she was shot in the head in Gaza in August 2024.
