Things are changing at Dover Pride 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
After seven incredible years of bringing Dover together in celebration, visibility and pride, this year marks a moment of transition for Dover Pride.
Our founders and several long-standing members of the organising team are stepping back, leaving a powerful legacy of resilience and community spirit which has shaped Pride in our town from its very beginning. We are hugely grateful for everything they have built.
As a new team begins to take things forward, we have chosen to do things a little differently this year. Instead of delivering a large-scale Pride march and event in 2026, we’ll be focusing on a programme of smaller, community-led activities throughout the year which will create space for connection and creativity across our LGBTQIA+ community.
This approach reflects both the realities of a changing funding landscape and a positive choice to invest time in building a strong and sustainable future for Dover Pride.
This is not a step back but a moment to regroup, grow and reimagine what Pride can be for Dover. At a time when spaces for LGBTQIA+ people to connect, feel safe and be visible are more important than ever, we’re excited to engage with and support new voices, develop the next generation of organisers and return with a renewed energy.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of Dover Pride so far, and to those who will help shape what comes next.
Dover Pride will continue to deliver events and activities throughout 2026, starting with a fundraiser with The Anxious Pickle Club on the 25th April 2026, 7-11pm at Biggin Hall Dover.
Tickets available through @theanxiouspickleclub or head to doverpride.com/events.
💫 Further details of our 2026 events and activities will be announced in the coming months 💫

Seven years strong and still marching on 🌈💪 Dover Pride 2025 was a beautiful reminder that when we come together, love truly wins. A heartfelt thank you to the 1,400 amazing people who showed up to celebrate, support, and stand proudly with our LGBTQ+ community.
Pride isn’t just a party—it’s protest, it’s visibility, and it’s a celebration of how far we’ve come while standing firm in the fight for equality. Every flag, every cheer, every hug matters 🏳️🌈❤️
Here’s to love, unity, and many more years of Pride lighting up Dover.
