I can be quiet and hidden or loud and proud and I choose to be the latter,

🎬 Concept Trailer ✨Our documentary, “There’s a Lane for Us Here,” by @lionheartmotionworks traces Denver’s Little Saigon along Federal Blvd, a vibrant business district built by Vietnamese, Southeast, and East Asian refugees. While Little Saigons exist across the U.S., few films have centered them, despite their deep cultural and historical impact.
 
As we recognize National Immigrant Heritage Month this June, we’re proud to share a story that honors the fortitude, legacy, and collective memories of our immigrant communities.
 
Through business owners and families in the district, we look at how memory is kept alive, not just through spaces like storefronts and markets, but through people, traditions, and community.
 
As the immigrant generation ages and the neighborhood faces change, we ask: how do we carry these memories forward? As landscapes shift and history fades, preservation goes beyond protecting infrastructure. It is also rooted in the act of remembering. This film invites you to stroll down a memory lane we must collectively preserve.

I’ve been sitting on this post for months… debating on sharing my thoughts and then closing out of the post and remaining silent.

I guess now felt like the time to write a novel. If you don’t want to read it I personally don’t give a fuck. Find your own people to follow. If this doesn’t reach accounts I also don’t care. If you feel that I’m being blunt or a raging, well you know, then maybe it’s just been months of being fed up and worn out.

As we all collectivelyhave witnessed, everything is AI focused and it is both harming the planet and for myself and so many actual creatives who put our lives work into making visuals. I keep seeing people loosing work to something that AI has done cheaper, easier, and quicker and frankly creating work that is deceptively as good. I also have seen people in my own field transition from making their own work to feeding their knowledge and skills to have AI generate their work and claim that it’s using their principles to teach it. Frankly I feel that’s just a lazy way of making work - I’m happy to say that and don’t care anymore. Am I fully innocent- unfortunately not, AI has recently helping me with getting through long transcripts of audio or making a very noisy wedding image recoverable. But I’m trying my best to mindful of my usage, yes of course.

In conclusion, when it comes to people loosing creativity, their professional skills, and passion for what they do and lean into to AI generated work - I think that’s where I draw a firm and strong boundary. Seeing a recent Hollywood movie getting made AI it’s just opening Pandora’s box and we have no idea the ramifications this is going to have.

I am done, exhausted, and so pissed off with the way AI is ruining the world at large physically, mentally and emotionally. In the words of Miranda Priestly “that’s all” ✌🏼

Happy International Women’s Day to my beautiful mother and all the other badass women in my life that inspire me daily ❤️✨

I am so honored and grateful to be able to see the amazing skills, talents, compassion, kindness and love that these women bring to this world.

If you’ve ever been awake at 4am and felt completely alone - you’re not.

This is the story of how I started remembering mine.

It’s surreal (and honestly a little vulnerable) to see your own face and story reflected back at you like this. I’m proud. I’m humbled. And yes, a little scared to put it into the world.

This film has been nearly six months in the making.

And truly - none of it would have been possible without my friend @dougalbrownlie and his incredible project, @rootstorestaurants.
He believed in this story before it felt real. He made space for it. He saw something worth documenting and treated it with care and seriousness. This exists because he saw the bigger picture.

✨ Last fall, in the middle of September, this dreamy wedding came together perfectly! 🍂 The weekend was forecasted for rain thanks to a random cold front, but somehow the skies held up, giving us the perfect sunny day for an outdoor celebration. ☀️ A few nerve-wracking days leading up to the big day had us all holding our breath—but it was worth it!

All hands were on deck, the energy was contagious, and the crowd was so loving and fun. 💕 The couple was beyond chill and down-to-earth, yet they planned every detail beautifully—seriously, their vision came to life effortlessly. And yes… thanks for letting us coordinate your very own EDM-style show—it was an absolute blast! 🎶💃
