curating the atmosphere in the expo, @ru_gaiyah will be leaning into a more chilled, expansive vibe. a selector dedicated to the fringes of bass and the deeper shadows of ambient music, her set will be an exercise in patience and texture—perfectly suited for the immersive, laid-back energy of the expo space.

to complete the immersion, the industrial architecture of Laak will be transformed by a custom lighting installation from @dotdotwest @dotweststudio known for their ability to merge space and light into a new reality, they will curate the visual atmosphere of the night—using smoke and shadows as a canvas to create an environment that resonates perfectly with the sonic depth of the traumgarten x Animalia gathering.

Their practice operates across artistic and cultural contexts, with works presented at Rotterdam Art Week, International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR), PAS Art Space (Berlin), Royal Theater Groningen, Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), AAIE – Center for Contemporary Art (Rome), and NDSM (Amsterdam).
