The two emerging parties are bridging the rich sonic histories of the Black American and Afro-Boricua underground, which comprise much of the foundation of modern dance music. When they connect, the energy is always singular, celebratory, and deep.
To help guide the night, they’ve invited DJ RAQX, a DJ, event producer and educator from New York with Puerto Rican and German roots. Her music selection is heavily influenced by her hybrid cultures playing vinyl + digital sets exploring 90s NY house, latin deep cuts, all flavors of rhythmic and soulful dance music infused with club and reggaeton sounds. She joins Nuyo Ritmo’s Marcel Ruiz and Sixth Sense co-founder MESA. Together, the three of them will be handling the soundscape from doors to close.

Berlin-based @__viiaan follows with a special three-hour set, marking her return to NYC after relocating to Europe. Moving fluidly between textured electronics and swaying rhythms, Viiaan builds slow-burn tension and emotion, letting ideas stretch and evolve over time.
