The Strawberry Discotheque is thrilled to host the one and only @sonns___ . If you follow the West Coast underground, you know the pedigree. He’s the co-founder of Machine Limited, one-half of the powerhouse duo Split Secs, and a key architect of LA’s acid house instigators DISCOSXXX.

As the primary booker for @inbetween_losangeles , he’s responsible for bringing legends like Carl Craig, Ron Trent, and Paranoid London to the dancefloor, all while keeping things current with hosting folks like Paula Tape, Yu Su, Klasse Wrecks, and Red Axes - so you know his taste is impeccable.

He’s a master of the deepest digs, and his sets reflect his drive to consistently unearth tracks that have a certain timelessness to them.

His production catalog reads like a “who’s who” of electronic music royalty: Kompakt, ESP Institute, Hottrax, and Prins Thomas’ Internasjonal, among more than we can count and his decade-long run as Split Secs (with @diskotk ) has cemented him as a DJ’s favorite, delivering a relentless stream of remixes and originals that have become staples in record bags worldwide.

It was only a matter of time before Los Angeles residents, TK & Tavish, disseminated their own breed of dynamic acidic dancefloor energy. Their distinct musical resonance was automatic. They leapt quickly to a partnered DJ chemistry, and jumped to crafting remixes and original material for the global nightlife community. They have now performed Glastonbury, Sunset Campout, Love International, and have woven the EU circuit back and forth.

The Warehouse Preservation Society duo landed remix works with such esteemed artists as Daniele Baldelli & DJ Rocca (sitting aboard DJ Harvey’s 2nd Pikes Comp); plus flips for Hardway Bros, Romain FX, CiCi, Psychemagik, Tronik Youth, DJ Garth, and the legendary Gary Davis. They’ve naturally propagated originals as well, having released an EP with Bristol’s Futureboogie Recordings and on Paramida’s Love On The Rocks label compilation.
