« Krump is a Street dance who was born in the early 2000s in the ghettos of Los Angeles in the United States.

KRUMP, first called « Rugged Nigga Dance », is today defined by the anacronym: Kingdom radically uplifted mighty praise.

How did krump become worldwide famous? From the documentary called Rize released in 2005 by David Lachapelle.

During 3 years, the French director record the clowning movement and its founder Tommy the clown, but he is really interested by the former young disciples who are themselves the pioneers of krump such as Tight eyez, Big Mijo, Prissy Lil C Slayer.

Today the documentary has crossed borders and krump has settled in more than 90 countries in the world with more than 20,000 active krumpers

in Europe, Oceania, South America, Africa and even Asia

This dance is for krumpers an outlet, a lifestyle , a way to express their emotions, a way to tell their story in the most powerful and pure way. »
