LIVING MY BEST LIFE
resident @citedesartsparis
upcoming @marres_maastricht @dogoresidenz
supported by @mondriaanfonds

Come see my work ‘De Eeuwige Zwemmer’ at the art route Kunstrrrroute at camping BuitenLand.
A relief sculpture of a beach scene. A casted aluminium still life of a swimmer who got lost. Placed in a ‘veen gebied’ where the lakes are man-made, but they still dried out…
The route is open until end of october. With artists like @barteysinksmeets @jordie.rovers @koosbuster @suzievanstaaveren @erikaardema and more
Many thanks to @evavanbemmelen and @makeeindhoven

Just got to Paris. Will be working at @citedesartsparis for the coming 3 months. I really like it here.

I MADE A LITTLE FAMILY
My goal for 2026 is to work more intuitively. In January I spent a month doing this at @padastudios at an old industrial site close to Lisbon.
Here I scavenged materials in derelict buildings.
The first thing I found were a pair of old boots. This scene reflecting on the nuclear family came out of it.
Part of the show curated by @sergiofazendarodrigues
And a big shout out to the local firefighters canteen.
I should have gave them a little artwork.
(I didn’t)

YES! ANOTHER NEW WORK.
Made during my residency at @padastudios
Part of the groupshow curated by @sergiofazendarodrigues
These airvents always intrigue me. They lead to a different world. They transport air out or into the space. Its like the breath or lungs of a building. Often placed in awkward positions by bootleg constructors like myself. Part of a new series smaller architectural works. :)

A year ago, I spent the summer high in the swiss alps at @fundaziunnairs. I had all these crazy (haunted) dreams and big expierences in nature with my friends. The mountains are something else!!
I brought my little furnace (burned my hands many times lol) and casted a series of aluminium reliefs. I didnt really know what to do with them. Now more than a year later combined in this big wall piece.
❤️🛐🫰🏻to my dear friends @surrealjanhofer and @_j_e_yjey_ for keeping me sane in these mountains
I will come back.
