Dirimart is delighted to present ‘Reenactment of Heaven’ (2018) by İnci Eviner at the 2026 edition of Art Basel Unlimited. ‘Reenactment of Heaven’ is a two-channel video installation displayed on a 10-metre-wide double-sided screen. Designed to be experienced through the viewer’s movement around it, the work’s immersive scale and spatial choreography transform the space into a site where earthly realities and spiritual imaginaries coexist and unfold simultaneously.

By repositioning traditional techniques such as sewing and embroidery – historically coded as ‘women’s work’ – within the language of contemporary art, Amer opens a powerful visual field in which the female body and sexuality move beyond established social norms and systems of representation. Throughout a practice developed over several decades, the artist raises questions around gender politics, desire, representation, and the visibility of the female subject in art history.

Olivia Sterling’in Dirimart Pera’da izleyiciyle buluşan ‘’Jöle’’ başlıklı sergisi 14 Haziran 2026 tarihine kadar ziyaret edilebilir.

Sterling’in görsel dilinin merkezinde meyve, duygu ve renk üzerinden geliştirdiği kavramsal çerçeve yer alır. Olgun bir meyvenin suyu gibi yoğun, canlı ve arzuyla yüklü renkler, başlangıçta pozitif ve yoğun çağrışımlara sahipken, zamanla manipüle edilip parçalanır, ezilir ve özünden ayrıştırılarak daha kontrol edilebilir ve indirgenmiş formlara dönüşür. At the core of Sterling’s visual language lies a conceptual framework centred on food, emotion and colour. Colours that are dense, vivid and charged with desire – like the juice of a ripe fruit – initially carry a sense of positivity and intensity. Over time, however, these qualities are manipulated, fragmented, and crushed, gradually separated from their origin and reduced to more controlled, diminished forms. Following last week’s premiere, the second screening will take place on Sunday, 17 May at Sahne Minoa Pera. Directed by Schwerfel, ‘The World According to [Anish] Kapoor’ (2011) was filmed on the occasion of Anish Kapoor’s monumental work Leviathan for the Monumenta series in the Grand Palais, Paris. Conceived as a cinematographic journey into the world of one of the most innovative sculptors working today, it is the first film devoted to Kapoor’s practice.

Dirimart ve Minoa Pera, Alman küratör ve ödüllü sinemacı Heinz Peter Schwerfel’in yönettiği seçili sanatçı belgesellerini bir araya getiren “Çağdaş Sanata Tanıklık” başlıklı film gösterim programını sunmaktan mutluluk duyar.

Üç bölümden oluşan programın ilk bölümü, 10 Mayıs itibarıyla Sahne Minoa Pera’da izleyiciyle buluşurken bu bölüm, yönetmenliğini Schwerfel’in üstlendiği “An American Destiny – Jeff Koons” (1990) [Jeff Koons – Bir Amerikan Talihi], “Georg Baselitz” (1987/2017/2025) ve “The World According to [Anish] Kapoor” (2011) [Anish Kapoor’a Göre Dünya] başlıklı filmleri izleyiciyle buluşturacak.
