We’re incredibly proud to celebrate our alum @henry.behel whose one of the films he directed has now become an Apple Original!

Henry’s creative journey is remarkable.
What started as an idea became a script…..then a film. And now it’s reaching audiences around the world.

Henry took the Tools Foundation Workshop in LA led by the incredible Brad Barnes.

And this is why we nurture our directors, why we teach The Tools, and why our community matters.

The last Tools Foundation of 2025 taught by Bard Barnes is starting on December 4 in Los Angeles and there are only a few spots open and once they are gone, that’s it until next year.

Jennifer went on to direct for “Mad Men,” “Westworld,” and most recently on HBO’s hit series “The Penguin,” starring Colin Farrell and Cristin Milioti.

In her recent interview, Jennifer shared how taking The Tools Foundation Workshop shapes her journey as a director and helped her to understand what performers really needed out of a director.

We are proud to share that one of our talented Alumni, @madeleine_hunt_ehrlich - who attended our signature workshop The Tools Foundation in NYC with Adrienne Weiss - has made it to the big screen!

Madeleine’s latest movie, The Ballad of Suzanne Cesaire, is showing @bamfilmbrooklyn @cinemaguild on June 6-12.

The Ballad of Suzanne Cesaire is a stunningly beautiful, poetic and important film, exploring the life of a writer whose work has been suppress for a long time.
Adrienne worked as a Directing Actors coach before the shoot, and the film premiered min NYC at the New York Film Festival last year.

See it on 35mm on Saturday, June 7 at 7pm, and Sunday, June 8 at 5pm. Join us for Q&As with director Madeleine Hunt-Ehrlich following the 7pm screening on Saturday, June 7.
