Clubbing is being challenged on all fronts these days by the forces of commercialism & general whack. And spaces like this is where it all began back in the day 💫

Dark, intimate, full of friends & strangers with amazing sound, proper music people, underground sounds & only good vibes 🚨🔥🚨🔥

Glasgow is lucky to still have a number of great top quality wee underground venues like this in the city. But well it deserves it really as not many cities have devoted themselves as much to music and nightlife the way it has 🏆

You may not know but I was lucky enough to be brought up there, got schooled in music in its basements & clubs, inspired by DJs like Harri & Domenic, Oscar, Jonnie & Keith, Billy Woods & many others 🙏

In fact La Cheetah in particular means a lot to me because I used to go there when I was just a young kid of maybe 15 to listen to Punk & Post Punk sounds in that very basement back in the days when it was The Rock Garden. The Cramps, The Clash & Bauhaus were the soundtrack back then 🎸 ⭐️ 🔥

So it means a lot to be returning to a place where in many ways my musical journey began 💫

Anyway I’m banging on…

Can’t wait to play on Saturday night with two local heroes @moogadelic & @fourthprecinct at @elisco__ it’s gonna be a right journey into Disco Italo Balearic House & beyond 🌎 🪩 🔊 🎶

So if you’re in town then get yerself down early to that dark wee basement and don’t miss a beat! It’s going to be a belter of a night guaranteed🚨 🔥⚡️
