The first Devotions poetry night will be taking place on 13 July, Sunday at Next Door Records 2 in Stoke Newington.
This month, we’re focusing on the theme of SURRENDER. From aspirations, wishes, pleasures, freedoms, joys, loves, and cravings, this season is about relinquishing control and yielding to the unknown.
We’ll be sharing and cultivating evocative, raw, honest work. Guest performers will be reading their poems on the night, followed by an open mic for everyone who is moved to share.

As artists, we are dedicated to making poetry and art accessible. We see poetry as a moving expression of emotions, perceptions, and experiences, and accordingly encourage creativity and vulnerability in its approach.
