A lush world teeming with vast oceans, frost-crowned peaks, sun-scoured deserts, and endless fern forests hums with raw arcane energy, a lingering gift of the Old Lords who still watch from the depths of the cosmos.

Beneath pale celestial starlight, neon druids lift their staffs toward the northern skies. Crystals awaken and sigils glow as ancient harmonies align, and the rites of astral draconic worship, older than memory, are once again set in motion.

My new album, Celestial Sorcery will be available for purchase digitally February 5th, 2026 and tapes will be available through @weregnomerecords February 6th, 2026.

Minneapolis locals, I’ll have some available at @oddmartmn soon. Will keep you posted.

Thanks for reading, I’m very excited about this release!

Weary traveler, consider a night of Dungeon Synth and community support at Grace Center in NE Minneapolis, January 31st at 6:30pm:

Tree Gardener
Desolation Plains
Wooden Vessels

Featuring delicious baked good support by the lovely @lovelatticemn as well as a tea bar.

We are banding together to garner essential non-perishable food and funds for our neighbors through the Little Kitchen Food Shelf.

Entry is only $15. All proceeds beyond what goes to the facility, will be donated to the Little Kitchen Food Shelf. Donate non-perishable food if you are able.

This may be one of the coziest dungeon synth sets you will ever experience in your life. Hope to see you there!

12PM CST, keep an eye on my Bandcamp. I’m doing an extremely limited run of 2AGE2EMPIRES preorder on cassette to support MIRAC, our local Immigration Rights committee.

@miracmn is an all-volunteer, grassroots, multiracial, and multinational immigrant rights mass-movement organization. MIRAC fights for legalization for all, an end to immigration raids and deportations, an end to all anti-immigrant laws, and full equality in all areas of life.

25 of 50 will be available online. This project may never see a another cassette release again.

I just released a not-quite-dungeon-synth breakcore/d&b/whatever album made entirely out of Age of Empires II samples. It’s free, happy holidays. Link in bio.

A we close the casket on 2025, I can’t help but feel grateful for what the year had to offer.

From a creative standpoint, 2025 was fulfilling for me. I had the opportunity to perform a half a dozen shows with many other wildly talented artists. Playing live is something I’m still relatively new to, and while I still need to shake the nerves every time, I have definitely acquired the itch. I’m looking forward to playing more in 2026, starting in Winnipeg. I’ve got a couple Minneapolis gigs lined up as well, more on that soon!

I also completed a fair amount of composing and recording of new material in 2025. Under the Desolation Plains name, as well as other projects. I’m so excited to share these releases with you in early 2026.

From a dungeon synth enjoyer standpoint, it’s absolutely insane to me that I watched over thirty different Dungeon Synth artists throughout the year. I was able to enjoy many events which included a fun weekend in Chicago for Fief/Quest Master, Jenn Taiga’s Sanguine Tour, the Texas Dungeon Siege DVNGEONVASION tour and Great Lakes Dungeon Siege II. Live Dungeon Synth IS alive, and it is well.

From a community standpoint, ya’ll are incredible. I had such a fun time meeting new friends and reconnecting with existing pals at the events I attended this year. I’ve appreciated taking part in organizing shows and participating on compilations with fellow artists. I’ve enjoyed geeking out about lore, art, nature, instruments & synths with a few of you. I’m not sure you can find this type of camaraderie in many other genres. The DS community is the inspiration that keeps me going, honestly.

Despite all the wretched shit happening on this planet right now, I feel blessed knowing there’s always a little bastion where myself and others can sequester ourselves in this silly little genre of music. I’m very optimistic for the new year and hope to cross paths with ya’ll somewhere in 2026!

Thanks @jacindadavis for the sick synth/castle photo! 😘
Thanks @indole_noise for the GLDSII group shot.
Thanks @elevenoone for the XXX shot.
