Madame Leota does NOLA 🔮 When we planned the trip I knew I wanted to make a costume that related to this mystical and magical city. It was my most complex creation by far with the added challenge of making it so I could break it down to be packed. Despite my globe cracking on the plane ride, I’m so happy with how it turned out. People really enjoyed it, hearing “OMG it’s Madame Leota!” all night made the time and money I spent worth it. Bubba the Good Boy is a ~ 9 year old pittie mix. He’s a sweet, gentle, easygoing senior boy and wants nothing more than to be by his person. He’s been recently diagnosed with Lymphoma Type B and has started chemo (CHOP protocol) and is responding well. He just had his 2nd round yesterday.

We are also STILL looking for a rescue that will take Bubba under their wing if we have a foster arranged. We will cover everything that we can in regard to treatment costs. 💜 WANTED: ONE GENTLE HOME/FOSPICE FOR ONE GENTLE DOG 💜

Bubba is a ~ 9ish year old pittie mix in need of a quiet home while he goes through cancer treatment. Everyone who has met him agrees on one thing: he is a perfect gentleman.

An incomplete list of reasons Bubba is a good boy:
💜 Good with other dogs (he was sharing a bed with one by the next morning)
💜 Tolerant of cats (he ignores them, which is the highest compliment a cat can hope for)
💜 So gentle on a leash you barely know you are walking him
💜 Loves his person hard and quietly, in the steady way only a sweet senior dog can love

A few rescues are ready to take him in if a foster steps up. Medical care and costs would be coordinated by the rescue. You would be providing the home and the company.

🚨 Help us find a medical foster for Bubba - needed ASAP! 🚨

Bubba was surrendered to the South LA shelter by his family for being “too old”. He was saved minutes before he was supposed to be euthanized, but unbeknownst to his rescue team, this incredibly sweet senior pittie mix was diagnosed with lymphoma immediately after leaving the shelter.

A few potential rescues are standing by to officially take him into their care and fund whatever treatment his doctors recommend IF he has a foster. Bubba needs a dedicated fospice (hospice foster) home to rest his head in his golden years. We are looking for a medical foster to provide Bubba with a calm, quiet home, and the ability to transport him to his appointments.

If you step up for Bubba, you will never be on your own. You will have a passionate, dedicated rescue team walking with you every single step of the way. 100% of Bubba’s medical care, treatments, logistics, and veterinary costs will be fully covered and coordinated by the rescue.

Yesterday she did a beautiful thing to help these poor innocent animals that can’t speak for themselves. She said her walkie talkie was going off all day with adoption calls AND one of the dogs showcased in the contest was adopted after a year in the shelter system!!!! My only complaint is that I didn’t pet enough dogs, but I did have an amazing ube latte from @purpleboxsweets2.0 and got to spend the day with beautiful people. I’m incredibly proud of @anna.june.official - a lot of people talk, but this woman takes action and puts her whole heart and soul into everything she does. Yesterday she did a beautiful thing to help these poor innocent animals that can’t speak for themselves. She said her walkie talkie was going off all day with adoption calls AND one of the dogs showcased in the contest was adopted after a year in the shelter system!!!! My only complaint is that I didn’t pet enough dogs, but I did have an amazing ube latte from @purpleboxsweets2.0 and got to spend the day with beautiful people.
