I usually keep my relationships off social media BUT my new girl be complaining about how I don’t post her on the gram like I got something to hide or I’m cheating..

So for the new year I promised her I’ll show how much I love her by showing PDA (Public display of Affection)

Starting off 2025 with a bang by taking her hand in marriage till death do us part. The love of my life right now. Love at 1st sight. I’m going to war with you and for you. Here is to the future babe!

The medical field is so backed up and janky that I haven’t had physical therapy since July. The only advice I got from the doctor was “keep moving”

Therefore I’ve been doing my due diligence exercising the best way I can while waiting for appointments to be available by constantly walking everywhere even tho I have a car to build up the femur bone strength..

Taking photographs on the other hand (no pun) has been my mental therapy keeping me from falling into injury depression exercising my wrist as well.

As you can see it’s been 1 of the things keeping me sane and connected to people on a deeper level. Random conversations and interactions with the world while recovering and gettin these reps in..

025 - “Word of Mouth” | East Palo Alto,CA

It’s 1 thing to have something to offer of value, but it’s nothing if nobody knows you have it to offer. Solely you trying to put yourself out there only goes so far. Eventually it’s gonna come down to who you are impacting and or who’s talking about you. The power of word of mouth has shifted mountains. We are all connected in some way. It cost us nothing to share what some 1 may need and might not know where to find it. So many opportunities have been created just off somebody sharing what some 1 does and the person who shared didn’t lose anything doing so. The scarcity mindset is holding us back.. - D.F.

It was so hard shooting/editing this, from sorting thru clips to making sure I didn’t forgot anybody making sure I showed everything to being where I needed to be with my camera that night while still trying to enjoy myself. I wanna thank everybody who showed up and showed out helping me restore that feeling we all miss. BIG shoutout to the family 1st and foremost for giving me the blessing and opportunity to honor Mahir. Shoutout to the G-Market for the pizza and drinks and the space..They was gonna have to kick us out anyway cuz we don’t listen lol. Shoutout to the new people I met thru this unfortunate circumstance. I’m still feeling the high from this day and now we all get to relive this special moments amongst special people in such a special city called EAST PALO ALTO. Let’s share this sh*t with the rest of the world and let’s show everybody how we function when everybody get along and come together as 1. Tag who you see - D.F.

023 - “Long Live Mahir” | East Palo Alto,CA

Man where do I even start..
It was only right that I dedicated this episode to Mahir. I wanna thank his family 1st and foremost for sharing Mahir with us and allowing me to honor him in the ways that I did and still do. From putting you on clothing waaay before your passing to wear everywhere I go so everybody see you and learn about your story to the prints and stickers. While people was telling me I was waisting my time documenting East Palo Alto for some reason I kept going and I truly believe Mahir played a huge part in that just knowing I couldn’t let us go unnoticed as a city. I looked at you as the mascot of East Palo Alto because who doesn’t know Mahir if you really from our small town?It saddens me to discover how young he was when he got laced with drugs by some 1 close to him and how he hasn’t been himself since. I feel like he was robbed of a life, a family of his own etc. It just doesn’t feel fair but god don’t make mistakes. God made sure to use you as a vessel, a testimony and an example. I made sure to tell him that before his last breath and I’m just so thankful again that the family allowed me to do so. I know I didn’t know him like everybody else did.. knowing him prior to his condition n what not but from the testimonies I’ve heard from the community I got a good idea of who he truly was. I didn’t wait till you left to start celebrating you and I thank god for putting that on my heart. Im thankful for all the times I’ve spent with him documenting him and just being a genuine friend. We lost a real 1.. a staple, a legend. Mahir will be truly missed and your legacy will live thru @madeinepa ❤️‍🩹 LONG LIVE MAHIR- D.F.

021 - “Small Town Cemetery” | East Palo Alto,CA

OG “Chunk” got this song called “small town cemetery” that you can hear in the end of this episode where he describes his perspective during the murder capital era we had in EastPalo Alto. It was a reflection of the times. That’s what art is about, reflecting the times and giving your perspective on it. Fast forward 2026 we have more than a handful of NFL players, no murders and @facebook @instagram right here in the heart of Silicon Valley. The narrative has changed drastically since the 80’s 90’s era. Time to let go of that bad rep we’ve always had and show my city for what it really is raw and uncut. - D.F.

IFYKYK that the park ain’t been the same since @strikemackin been gone. I feel this empty, missing element to being up there. Doesn’t feel the same. Doesn’t sound the same. Strike use to single me out everytime he saw me just like “Wild Bill” did. He believed, and never let me forget it. Moose and Tel 1 of them 1’s too - D.F.
