RESEMBLANCE IS OUT NOW!!!! ❣️⚡️

What a ride it’s been—from the first move to Paris to where I am now. Many new experiences have changed my perspective on basically everything. The direction I’m taking has become so clear, and I had to challenge my beliefs and abilities to get to this point. I can only say how lucky I am because of the people I’m surrounded by, and how proud I am of this song that is only the beginning of much more. <3

After the first recording (just vocals and guitar), there was something missing.
In ‘Time’, I experimented with synthesizers but not yet with electronic drums. 
I’d never done it before, but this song needed more, and I had to use the tools available to me.
After solving a big puzzle, I can say I’m feeling so lucky with how everything is accompanying and boosting the message of the song.

The feeling of not having enough but choosing to make it happen anyway—inspired by my mother, who had the courage to cross borders at an early age in her life.
Finalizing this song and this process has been empowering and healing to me, to say the least.

And I want to thank the amazing team—I couldn’t have done it without them!

I hope you enjoy Resemblance as much as I do, and may this be the beginning of much more! <3

From August 4–8, creatives came together at @edmond.brussels in Brussels for a week of songwriting, production, and collaboration with coaches @larskoehoorn, @iam_johsef, Malik Berrabah and @davide_ruffini!

One participant put it best:

The Wisseloord Sunday Sessions return on Sunday, September 7th with a very special edition!

Over the past year, @davide_ruffini and @davide_rasetti have collaborated at Wisseloord Studios on a solo piano album. Next month, they will perform it live for the very first time during the Sunday Sessions.

This one-of-a-kind collaboration between a composer and sound engineer will be recorded live starting at 13:30, and you’re invited to be part of it. Following the performance, Ruffini and Rasetti will host an exclusive panel, sharing insights into the creative and technical process behind the recording.
