For my Dear Rose who left this world peacefully in her sleep at the end of last month- I was so blessed along with my sisters to have you as a mother who brought me into this world and guided me through with a powerful sense of love and support like no other-
When I was a child you cared so much for me and thought me so many simple and creative ways- you gave me everything I needed and more to navigate this strange world-you let me be myself and enjoyed watching me blossom-

And when I grew up and flew from the nest -
that transition was tricky butwe transcended and we becamemore like friends and you were for sure my best pal in this world- always behind me and supported any hard decisions I had to make- late nights sipping brandy and smoking cigarettes by the fire and having our ‘creative conversations’ . I will surely miss these times-

I may have quit or given up many times making art- but you were always behind me and championed everything I created-you could sing all the words of my songs and I think you understood my drawings more thanI did -you dropped in weekly to our online class and instead of drawing you observed with your knitting needles in hand and enjoyedthe music and the chats.

You made me believe in the idea of Abundance- the greatest gift to hold.

I will miss you so much but I’m happy you got to leave this place peacefully in your sleep- just as you wanted-

March Fri 27th and Sat 28th, Dave and I will be back to @flux_dublin for another life drawing drop-in session and one day workshop👨‍🎨🎨🌸✨

We are looking forward to drawing together with all levels of artists, and exchange inspiration💫

Friday will be intense 2.5hours life drawing gym with mix length of poses, 1min to 20min☄️✨
Saturday will be the same gym in the morning, and for the afternoon movement and continuous layering poses, and 2 x 25min long pose to gently land the high momentum after all day drawing🪷

Yuka will model for each sessions, and Dave will share his experience and tips by drawing alongside you all🫧
Nice playlists of music will accompany each session📻
