We are back. But wait. Not another tour???!!!! 🥶❄️⛄️❤️😱 You betcha! This time back in the scary deep south of Germany and heading even further to Switzerland for a gig too. Just before Spring springs at the end of ole March. Yonder Boys hit yet another highway to bring you their very special type of sauce serving the new album “a makeshift family”. Old time instruments, folky songs, harmony, melody, with their bluegrass inspired acoustic music. All unplugged, almost, and all original (almost). This post is almost the most!

Yonder Boys “a makeshift family” vinyl is here! It’s like and end of a long road. Nerve wracking and tiresome but it feels worth it once this thing you hold in your hands.

@flaviemialon is the person who helped me writeLove to Come Home and Like a Brother. I can’t say why song writing only comes to me sparingly, but it’s an effort. Couldn’t have finished these songs or had the capabilities to have faith in myself without your ideas, helping hands, heart and ears. These songs are yours as much as mine. Love you for your strength, talent and ability to deal with me!
The artwork, I love holding vinyl like 5 year old me used to do with The Muppets Album. It’s where I told @whothehellismone that the inspiration was coming from. Thanks Merle! You’re an artist through and through no matter what you set your mind to 😊
Inspiration for the cover??? Takes me back to 19…. something, you don’t need to know that. It’s gorgeous. The photo we took in front of a real backdrop at the @ranch_and_chapel (greatest studio and one of the best cooks in Saxon Anhalt) Seemed like it would be a waste of time but there we have it! It worked out splendidly. Couldn’t be more 80’s family portrait/Miss Piggy and Kermitesque. To @tomasperaltaberlin and @jasonserious it’s a ride and not always a smooth one! But here we are still after many years still doing it and coming out with something we can always be proud of. Here we are yet again! Here’s to many more of everything!!!

You are all so fucking cordially (nothing quite like being cordial) welcome to come this Sunday as we celebrate our 10th birthday here at the Open Mic Sunday at Kindl Stuben. We’ll do something crazy and enjoy each others company, eat, drink and reminisce. Perhaps a few songs if someone has something they want to share, but mainly it’ll be a get together with a total lack of structure so myself and all others involved don’t have to do much but enjoy your company!
