It is with deep gratitude that our film was able to touch so many lives and travel through institutions, gallery, and classroomsto tell Izzet’s and the athletes of Isygyms story. Being included in the curriculum, course and academia. existing in rooms I was told I never reach was something we never foresaw over the 5 years it took to create this film.
To my collaborators and partners none of this was possible without you all - #1 my editor and producer @wes_sanchez - my composer the extremely intuitive @gianni_gebbia - my colorist a rock a real as they come @kyaloumy producers @klaudiclouds and @saranixSaul my running mate - whoever let me sleep on floors in berlin, couches, lent gear and so on. @paul_skulimma my fixer, translator, and all of the above. @_guillaumesalmon_ for arranging paris and lending us his voice and support, the slam jam team in Milan, Ben and Pauline for allowing us to use the back room ofHeidi, @gabriellaprice for holding us down in berlin, @dedicdina@ninaiv for their tireless efforts on our roll out, all my panel speakers and moderators @naomiaccardi @katjahorvat @wor1dstar_hiphop @salomonfaye - @flohettenbach - @hellhathnofurby @deanmajd and @arizonasandhoneybuns and my live score musicians led by Isiaha @jazzatthebarr @mariuswankel and buz on the drums.
