I only posted a clip of this when it first came out. Thought I’d share the entire performance as it is one of my favorite pieces I created to date 🛑 Thank you to everyone who has shared it 🙏🏽 and thanks to @vibrvncy @sinostage @arenadancecomp @kinjaz
Here’s a snippet of my recent performance at the @wsup_dancecomp in Changsha, China. It’s been on my mind for quite some time now to develop a one man theatrical show. I’ve had a concept that I’ve been wanting to explore about an artist who is too afraid to share his ideas with the world and this provided an opportunity to experiment a kind of proof of concept for the bigger picture. Putting this together was challenging in many ways. I have a long ways to go to reach where I want to take this story. But what I have learned through the process so far has been invaluable. I’m excited to move on to the next phase of this journey and finally begin to release these ideas to the world. Stay tuned 🎈
Full performance is on @vibrvncy youtube channel 🙏🏽
I want to give my gratitude to the team who helped bring this to life! @odogchina @olddogdance @wsup_dancecomp @cheymami @tu_devera @dannycistone @daveduarte_ @carrmelisaa @elementsdancespace @wuu_cici @jyshih21 @chad.mayate and to the entire crew that helped with everything on and off stage 🎉🙏🏽
And to the MVP of this whole experience @krystalellsworth ❤️🥹🏠

Creating art is like looking into a mirror and watching yourself age through the years. You hardly notice the changes until you look back at an old photograph. You forget all the steps it took to become who you are today. We are living art, sculpted by time.

Here’s a closer look at the visual world of “Into The Cosmos” 🌌
A blend of traditional 2D and 3D animation, with each character carrying the universe inside them. Inspired by Carl Sagan’s quote: “We are made of star-stuff.”

Years ago, I wrote a song called “Into The Cosmos”
From that song came this little story.
It started as a proof of concept. I spent a month storyboarding this sequence. Something I hoped to pitch to animation studios. I had a big vision for it… but I waited.
Years passed. And eventually, a similar story was told by a major studio.
So I’m finally letting this one go. A reminder to myself, and maybe to you, don’t wait on your ideas. The world deserves to experience them through your lens.
I hope this finds the people it’s meant for 🙏🏽🚀
Lyrics
Back into the cosmos…
Packed up my bags, heading out to catch the train
One look back down memory lane
One last kiss to the ones I’m going to miss
One more step towards infinite bliss
Please understand when I tell you this…
Every ending has a silver lining
When you change your perspective
Goodbye, everybody
I’m off a jet plane
Crossing the milky highway
Into another galaxy
Hello to the unknown
Somewhere in the cosmos
I will find a new home
A quiet place where I can call my own
Back into the cosmos…
Don’t be afraid, everything will be ok
I’ll be seeing you again some day
Back to the place before I came into this shape
To understand these feelings I can’t explain
‘Cause somewhere out there in the intergalactic, cosmic starlit sky
Is where my heart will find…
‘Cause every ending has a silver lining
When you change your perspective
Goodbye everybody
I’m off a jet plane
Crossing the milky highway
Into another galaxy
Hello to the unknown
Somewhere in the cosmos
I will find a new home
A quiet place where I can call my own
Back into the cosmos…
