We met Dane for the first time last year when we were forced ‘last minute’ to MC his and Josh Ku’s latest video escapades in Hood River. Turns out he’s been involved with a fair few of our favourite foiling footage over the last few years - so we were keen to learn more.
This is what its all about - enthusiasm and enjoyment. Thanks to Dane for taking the time - we look forward to catching up again in real time, now we’re better acquainted!

Objectively one of the scariest shots I’ve done. I’ve swam around boats and foils for many years now but this one is definitely different. These boats move so fast with so much load on the foils, that it’s not really up to me to get out of the way, full trust in @sarahnewberrymoore who did an excellent job not turning me into sushi!
But absolutely stoked with how this shot came out, from seeing the whole boat, their faces and then the droplets of water as they sails by.
