Honoured to be included in ‘What We Share’ at Manningham Art Gallery, which officially opens tonight.

It’s a real privilege to have my work sit alongside such an esteemed group of artists: @hayleymillarbaker , @michaelcookartist , Jahkarli Felicitas Romanis, @christianthompsonartist and @plasticaboriginal .

This exhibition brings together powerful First Nations storytelling through contemporary photographic portraiture and moving image, reflecting on memory, identity, culture, ancestry, politics and the ongoing impacts of Australia’s colonial history.

Thanks to Manningham Art Gallery and everyone involved in bringing this exhibition together.

I used to cruise around Adelaide with my mum back in the 80s taking photos of pieces at various sites. As I got older I dabbled a bit but not enough to get good. Recently caught up with an old Uni mate, talked shit about the old days and walked away with one of the sickest little works for my art collection.
