I’m super excited to announce my latest ‘CREATION’ in collaboration with NARS @narsissist! 

CREATION was inspired by the word N’Danji, which means roots in Kimbundu, and has always made me think of the beauty in growth. I was shy in my youth, and applying blush felt like the act of portraying shyness through makeup. This has allowed me to come full circle and wear the insecurities with pride. The NARS Orgasm Collection reconnected me with the power of blush. 

CREATION is part of ORGASM, ACTIVATED—an exclusive collection of 5 NFTs inspired by the sensual tones and textures of the NARS Orgasm Collection. This NFT was also the foundation for an interactive AR filter on the NARS Instagram profile, @narsissist, allowing enthusiasts another way to experience the digital designs.

N’Zinga Mbondo is an installation that stages a cyber-ritual of rebirth, reimagining the afterlife of Queen N’Zinga of Angola through 3D design, AI video generation, and augmented reality. Emerging from the framework of “Cyber-Kimbandism”—a conceptual and aesthetic framework that merges Bantu cosmologies with immersive technologies—the work treats technology as a vessel of animism and an algorithmic ritual.

In celebration of Onassis ONX’s new home in downtown Manhattan, TECHNE Homecoming is a free open exhibition presented as part of Under the Radar. Here, creation becomes an act of remembrance and renewal, encouraging us to imagine how we might come home to one another, to our histories, and to the stories still waiting to be told.

She woke up from the mothernap of social-media sabbaticals to land face first on the @dazed #DazedClub app campaign Be Scene🤳🏾🦋

My Scene is Intersectional Digitisation, which for me is making (cyber) sense of my own identity as an African, Black and Queer woman in the diaspora and in the Metaverse.

But in general, this notion is based on the following argument: The Metaverse and the access to Immersive/Gaming environments is more than a commodity, it is a new layer of experiential memory.

Intersectional Digitisation looks at contemporary digital designers as the builders of future ancient history, as the very early explorers of this era of expression.

As the “cave painters” of the Metaverse, we expand the ever changing vocabulary of identity, whilst holding the responsibility of breathing vulnerability, empathy and raw human emotions into this layer of reality we are building together.
