I love when a bride comes to the table full of ideasand symbolism and stories we can weave into their matrimonial cake—and Severine did just that. We spun their engagement story in the Florida Keys into the Moab desert where their family commenced and consequently eloped, and created a key lime sour cream cake wth homemade key lime curd on the inside, and over a silky smooth Swiss merengue frosting. We moved from the Florida keys beach (depicted in graham cracker dustings) to one full and beyond glorious “Moab”rose for decor.Actually sourced from South America, these insane roses are as vast and enchanting as the Moab desert itself. Finding them was nothing short of a miracle… and then all I had to do was keep them alive for 3 weeks 😮‍💨💪😝
