Two 14 year-old boys find a map for what they believe to be a treasure hidden in the desert near their beach house. Against the warnings of the beach’s guardian, they venture out to find it.

BEHIND THE SCENES (PART I)

One week since we wrapped shooting of ‘El Cerro Negro’ (The Black Dune), my most ambitious short film yet.
Long shooting days in the desert heat was definitely a new challenge for me, but I couldn’t have asked for a better crew to help me through it. No words to thank every one of these superheroes for helping me achieve this dream I’ve had for years of telling this story.
The talent displayed both in front and behind the camera is truly inspiring and a beautiful sign of what’s to come for the Peruvian film industry 🇵🇪 🎬.
