For our 31st mixtape, we invited @d_terstall , a Utrecht-based DJ known for his carefully curated selection of danceable, energetic techno. With a keen ear for hypnotic patterns and richly textured rhythms, this vinyl recording perfectly captures his approach to underground electronic music.
As a co-owner of @eindstation and USF Licht & Geluid, Terstall plays a key role in shaping Utrecht’s underground scene. His sets showcase a deep passion for vinyl and an intuitive connection to the dancefloor, striking a delicate balance between raw energy and loops filled with intricate sound design.

Had great fun last saturday playing @bangoutraves after doing 54.000 steps at @awakenings_upclose
Went for a high-paced set with lots of texture, some unreleased tracks of bro(@hendrick_producer ) and a closing track that never got played (because the cdj sudddddenly lost power🥹🫠).

Terstall is a DJ and the owner of USF Light & Sound. Additionally, he organizes and curates Only Wax events in and around Utrecht. Having been a vinyl enthusiast for quite some time, he decided it was time to launch his first ASW vinyl podcast. Carefully selecting each track, he takes listeners on a captivating dance journey through his wax collection.
For this particular set, Terstall aimed for a deeper build-up, gradually transitioning into harder tracks with a strong emphasis on sound design and texture. In the final phase, he wanted to showcase tracks with groovy and uptempo tribal vibes, reminiscent of many ASW releases. To conclude the set, he chose a record by 747, which prompted him to contemplate life philosophically, making it the perfect closing track.
