Back in January we set foot in Ciało for the very first time, and it instantly felt like home. The city, the crowd, the energy - everything about Wrocław left a strong mark on us. That’s why on October 25 we’re coming back with our friends from the @elysium_rave crew, hungry for more, ready to push things even further.

Elysium is an afterlife place in Greek mythology where those who were favored by the gods in their lifetime were given a place. It was often called the field of the happy, because the inhabitants there lived without care or trouble, and never felt tired, hungry, or thirsty. The souls who went there could enjoy themselves happily for eternity.

Their main mission is to share electronic music, including heavy techno and the “Elysium – rave – euphoria” feeling provided by music with their audience. They carefully consider each their events, so that anyone who visits Elysium will find themselves on a journey, where musical waves that grow stronger throughout the night guide visitors on an audiovisual journey, during which not only the music but also the environment will transform to fully immerse them in the euphoric state offered by Elysium.

VOID is an international collective based in Prague, heavily focused on promoting raw, unapologetic underground music. In the face of growing social media trends and the new breed of “influencer-artists,” we distance ourselves from the highly commercialized scene to deliver music that’s heavy at its core, beyond any conceivable boundaries of genre. We do not care about trends or social media hype - our events are built around intensity, pure energy, and the raw industrial machine sound.

The soundtrack for the night will be provided by VOID and Elysium residents, performing alongside fellow artists from across Europe. Expect a relentless, no-bullshit sonic assault, curated for those who dare.

Some videos from my b2b opening set with @cry_nn, captured at the last @voidcollective_ x @roguepuppetrecords event in @altenburg1964. Normally I’m not a big fan of b2b sets, but sharing decks with CRY.NN was a pure blast. Thanks bro, hope we do that again sometime.

Most DJs tend to avoid playing the opening slots, because everyone nowadays wants to get straight to the business. No foreplay, no kissing. Usually the faster, the better. But what’s the point of all this? As much as I enjoy playing fast paced, face-melting sets, there is a time and place for everything. A lot of people tend to confuse fast music with heavy music. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with putting the pedal to the metal… but no matter how fast you go, without any rhythm variations, after a while it starts to sound monotonous and boring. Cuz at the end of the day, it’s the silence between the sounds that gives them weight.

Some videos from my b2b opening set with @cry_nn, captured at the last @voidcollective_ x @roguepuppetrecords event in @altenburg1964. Normally I’m not a big fan of b2b sets, but sharing decks with CRY.NN was a pure blast. Thanks bro, hope we do that again sometime.

Most DJs tend to avoid playing the opening slots, because everyone nowadays wants to get straight to the business. No foreplay, no kissing. Usually the faster, the better. But what’s the point of all this? As much as I enjoy playing fast paced, face-melting sets, there is a time and place for everything. A lot of people tend to confuse fast music with heavy music. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with putting the pedal to the metal… but no matter how fast you go, without any rhythm variations, after a while it starts to sound monotonous and boring. Cuz at the end of the day, it’s the silence between the sounds that gives them weight.
