I was given a rare opportunity to go back and extend an existing mural. I feel much better about calling this one finished after having a few more days to add (and tripling its size!)

This ancient sea nymph, stuff of sailor legend, was painted this past month for @bermudawalls organized by @galleracollective and @hieroveiga
I feel so fortunate to have had the chance to spend time and work alongside such a wonderful, talented group on this special island in the middle of nowhere. Thank you so much to everyone who went out of their way to share their time and created an event that the people of Bermuda can be proud of. The second year was bigger and better than the first!

Completed this past Earth Day weekend, I had the honor to paint one of the boats that line the lagoon at Keys Cable. These boats have made the crossing from Cuba, their occupants in search of better lives for them and their families.

Completed this past Earth Day weekend, I had the honor to paint one of the boats that line the lagoon at Keys Cable. These boats have made the crossing from Cuba, their occupants in search of better lives for them and their families.
Growing up in and around boats, sailing and exploring, I was a child both fascinated and terrified of what was under the surface, and the image I painted is one meant to represent the fear of the abyss.
Other photos accompanying the latest painting are of a room I painted @grassyflats along with a previous Earth Day mural at Keys Cable, and scenes from my stay.
