Impermanent walls are meant to be decorated with permanent resistance: Political Graffiti and Palestinian Flags in Palermo 🇵🇸

New zine! This is a risograph book printed at @iprc_pdx. It’s a collection of photos I took while in Palermo after wrapping up my artist residency at @officinastamperiadelnotaio with a sprinkling of words by me! 14 pages, 4.25” by 5.5”, burgundy ink.

It’ll make its live debut at @aznzinefest on Saturday, February 28th, come through !!! Proceeds from this zine will go towards funds supporting Palestinian families (receipts will be posted for transparency). Sliding scale $5-$10.

Yes I know there’s a typo but remember that we EMBRACE MESS HERE!!

@countercurrentpress showcases works by me (@elewissss 😙), but more than that, I want it to be a communal practice for artists, organizers, friends, and lovers to create things that are life-sustaining and world-building. I’m hoping to host political art gatherings and facilitate organizing opportunities that build capacity for the road ahead 💫

I plan on posting projects as I work on/ finish them (usually zines, art books, and prints but occasionally a secret fourth, fifth, or sixth thing). I’ll also share events I’ll be vending at or hosting! Stay tuned! Website on the way!
