I’ve been on hiatus from burlesque since 2025 due to an injury and when I performed at Blerdcon this year, honestly, I didn’t feel truly tuned into myself
(& well ya girl was still healing)

Soooo I took a break entirely. While resting I reflected a lot about the type of performer I want to be, got rid of some acts that didn’t align with me, & will be focusing on performances that feed my soul.

I feel another chapter is opening & I can’t wait for you to see it 💌

Today marks my 27th birth anniversary. 🌹

At 26, I performed at my 1st ever festival (@emolesquefestival), felt on cloud 9 performing at @blerdcon with @psycho7productions, started my anime arm sleeve with @chrismesitattoo, created 2 new acts, saw mother Kali Uchis, performed at @thenerdlesquefest, started somatic counseling, and hit so many other milestones along the way 🖤

The lesson that stuck out to me the most this year was to be kinder to myself.

After shows, I used to tear myself apart over every little thing. One day @chachamamaburlesque told me to plan “treats” for myself after performing and that tiny change made a huge impact on me. Doing something nice for myself intentionally helped me remember I’ve got my back, because I've usually been my worst enemy.

If you know me, you know I cocoon myself and overthink…a lot 😭 Online, I usually show my perfectionist side, but behind the screen, I’m just a goofball who loves cat memes, kicks my feet at romance anime, and says “uwu” way too much to cover up my social anxiety 😂

This cycle, I want to be more courageous. To trust myself, listen to my desires, and grow louder in my art. I want to share my “rough drafts” and “mistakes,” not just what I deem as "worthy enough".
