@_reptant (live), king of the lizards, lord of the synths and duke of the dance returns to Control. for what will probably be Sheffield's best party of the summer, probably.

Last time Reptant came to town we sold out and this time the venue is smaller and the lizard is bigger so I can't imagine tickets for this one being about for long for this one, so either get one now or cry like a little baby.

Electro will never die and neither will Godzilla.

If life was just about big, dark rollers, then Dj come would have it all. Unfortunately its about all sorts of other waff like hard work, taxes, and tribal tech house. Luckily, mister come’s got a friend with enough musical knowledge, business acumen and straight tekkers for the both of them.

If you don’t already know him, Aaron Dynamic (air-uhn-die-namm-ick) is one of the owners of the mighty @grub.recordsand el capitano of the @control.sheffield party, which regularly puts on some of the leanest, meanest, heads down parties full of big, bad electro clobber. Some of the party’s previous guest include Reptant, Radioactive Man, Anna Wall, James Shinra, Sybil, The Hacker, Freakenstein, Lukas Wigflex, Jerome Hill… bloody hell it goes on and on and on. Softi and Katya on this weekend as well if you’re around the seven hills.

This tin city heavy-hitter joins one of Nottingham’s most handsome and charming soft lads for a night of steel wrapped up in lace, and Berre’s pork sandwiches stuffed full of ibuprofen. It’s a regional thing. They might be kept apart by Worksop, Mansfield and Chesterfield, but they’re brought together by their shared love of that big, beautiful thing we call tech house.

Records will be spun, pints will be drunk and headaches will be had in the morning.

As I’m writing this I’ve realised I’ve not even made an RA page for it yet. Who cares, I’ve done enough parties now to know most of you are rocking up on the door.

09/05/2026 we return to the bunker same energy. Different vibe.

This time, a mix of our patented electro into the middle of a deep, driving blend of proggy pressure, psychedelic techno, and tribal-weight rhythms.

Joining the residents: two names pushing serious weight out of London—Softi and Katya

@__softiii operates in the grey areas— genre bending, tempo shifting, pulling you under with low-end pressure and murky, swamp-soaked textures. Sets that evolve, twist and turn.

@katya.wav brings a dark, hypnotic edge— cutting through electro and various shades of techno with precision. Think tension, atmosphere, and late-night energy. A Fabric regular and former resident at The Cause.

We’ve also got half of resident duo Wow & Flutter stepping forward— @hypnodisc_uk —debuting a new alias for the first time in a rare closing b2b with Aaron Dynamic, landing just two days before his 30th birthday. This isn’t one to miss.

Expect tribal-driven techno, shadowrealm electro, and that rolling, hypnotic, late night tech house.

Opening the night, resident Muad’Dib sets the tone, puppeteering techno, acid, and gothic textures.

This one leans deeper. Darker corners. Longer blends. Proper heads-down music.

First releasing 1995 Orson Bramley has been making electro bangers for 30 years under the name Transparent Sound! Putting out on some of the best labels in the game including Elektrix, Exalt and Pressure Trax as well as his own Orson Records and Transparent Sound. He’s even got a cheeky tech house ripper on Surreal! 👀

Fast forward to now and you’ll find him becoming a Houghton regular, playing some of the best parties in the UK and performing a wicked live show that we can’t wait to welcome!
