Very happy to share that our film PASSÉ DISPARU will be presented at Festival du Nouveau Cinéma de Montréal!

One year ago, we had the chance to make a film about the hidden rivers of Montréal and met many wonderful and inspiring people along the way. Thank you @inis.mtl and @hffmuenchen for giving us the chance to make this film and to @nouveaucinema for this beautiful World Premiere! 🩵

“Once crossed by streams and creeks, Montreal has seen its rivers become polluted and buried through centuries of urbanization. Today, only the seagulls circling overhead and the manholes remind us of what lies beneath. Guided by some of Montreal’s oldest maps, PASSÉ DISPARU searches for the forgotten rivers and visits the urban landscapes that can be found today.”

Our compilation film ELEVEN TOMORROWS (Elf Mal Morgen), that premiered at @berlinale in February, will now be shown at @dokfest in Munich!

Louis and I had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful U17-Team of FFC Wacker and contributing to the project with a short film about the girls’ hard training and their dreams of becoming professionals.

I’tikaaf tells a story of exile and community, by documenting one station on the long journey of refugees, leaving their home.
