When you get several new Risograph colors itβs time to make some new charts! Perfect? Absolutely not, but still good. π @cmuschoolofart

In βPrint in Space,β Professor @iminyehβs students are learning to expand printmaking beyond the page, transforming repeated images into sculptural, spatial, and wearable forms. One floor up in Doherty Hall, Professor @dzegedeβs βDye Labβ students are exploring color as both process and history, experimenting with natural and synthetic dyes while considering their cultural and environmental origins.

Etching stones, printing, sponging! Itβs all happening in the litho studio π₯ #cmuprint #lithography

Itβs been a while since students have printed a stone litho in our shop, and even longer since a class has run focusing on it- so itβs extra nice to see students jumping into the process, graining stones, drawing and processing lovely images, and pulling prints from them. Today @jofipop finished her full edition and hot dang- the whole edition turned out great β€οΈ π Stay tuned for more stone litho delights this semester as we grain off the layer of dust from our rock collection. #cmuprints #lithography #stone
