Looking back at the Swiss Art Awards 2025 catalogue.

The catalogue was conceived as an object that reflects the temporality and modest quality of an everyday item — something flexible enough to host a range of voices and contents, and able to adapt to a short production time. The principle of a notepad felt like the right model: ordinary, flexible, and fitting for this year’s theme: the IDEA.

Flipping from bottom to top, the catalogue unfolds through chapters that alternate between portrait and landscape. Depending on the content, each section invites different ways of holding and navigating the object.

Launched at the @swissartawards 2025, it was simultaneously sent out to all @kunstbulletin subscribers.

Thanks to everyone involved for the trust, collaboration, and care — and to all who helped make it happen:

Léa Fluck, Gina Folly, Selma Meuli, Francesca Rovati, Sabine Leuthold and the whole SAA team — and to Ekki Heinrich and the printing team at Gremper AG 🫰

Now that the dust has settled, we finally found a moment to look back at some of our posters for this year’s Swiss Art Awards — it was great to see how everything came together, thanks to a great team effort from everyone, and how naturally it complemented Giliane Cachin’s visual identity for the Swiss Design Awards and her overall signage for the hall.

Thank you to everyone who helped make it happen, for the trust and encouragement: Léa Fluck, Anna Niederhäuser, Giliane Cachin, Selma Meuli, Lukas Zitzer, Francesca Rovati, and Sabine Leuthold. 💙🤎❤️💚

Special thanks to Selina Bernet and Giliane Cachin for their beautiful frames — and to everyone we may have forgotten! 🫰

This year’s identity is created by Clemens Piontek & Clio Hadjigeorgiou. It draws inspiration from the moment an idea emerges 💭 — at first blurry, volatile and often naive, yet full of potential. It reflects the unseen work of thought, moving from intuition to manifestation. 💪🏽
