Every year, we offer a small number of work experience placements to design students. It’s one week, fully remote, and structured around real digital design tasks in Figma, web design and responsive thinking, and creative concept development. You’ll get feedback from our senior team, get to ask questions about working in a studio, and leave with work for your portfolio.

Cameron, a second year student at @salforduni, recently joined us, working on a series of tasks we set to help him evolve his existing skills. To be clear: you won’t be working on live client briefs. These are creative tasks set by our team, inspired by real projects, to help your development. Our Project Lead Sophie is a part-time university lecturer, and this is something she has established at Cliff to help students gain real experience doing genuinely useful tasks - no tea-making or admin, here!
