Our Trustees help steer our organisation towards a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical, and legal governance and financial management policies, as well as by making sure the Charity has adequate resources to advance its mission and vision. As custodians of the charityβs vision, Trustees are responsible for ensuring that we remain focused on our objectives, operate transparently, and use our resources effectively. They provide both challenge and support to the CEO and senior leadership team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

π UKREiiF has come to a close for another year! On Wednesday, we were delighted to welcome back The National Lottery Heritage Fund, Arts Council England, and Historic England, to celebrate 'The Poetry of Place' at the beautiful City Varieties Music Hall.
β¨ Our new Chair, Dame Linda Pollard DBE Hon LLD. introduced the panel, featuring Laura Dyer MBE (Arts Council England), Susan Pitter (Out of Many People CIC), Claudia Kenyatta CBE (Historic England) and Isabel Hunt (National Lottery Heritage Fund). Olivier Award-winning writer and broadcaster Nick Ahad joined us to chair the event, and the panel discussed the power which can be achieved by celebrating a place, through its people, and the stories which blossom between them.
βοΈ The panel were also joined by the Poet Laureate, Simon Armitage, who delighted us all with a selection of poetry which brought to life scenes from across the Yorkshire landscape - and the feelings they generate for those who visit.
