Spinning through Illuminating Worlds: Light as Storytelling

On display for this week only at the Christopher Farr Cloth showroom on King’s Road, the exhibition brings together one-off handcrafted lampshades by contemporary artists including Olaf Hajek, Alvaro Picardo, Black Lion Workshops and Tony Green, each paired with bespoke bases by master makers.

Celebrating lampshades as a site for storytelling, every piece brings its own distinct visual language and is available to acquire this week only.

Set above Plettenberg Bay at the tip of South Africa, this beautiful project by @simonekatherineinteriors captures the coastal escapism we are all in search of. The views over the Indian Ocean are breathtaking, but what is a view without somewhere comfortable to enjoy it. Here, Simone Katherine Interiors shapes a space of quiet ease, with chaises adorned in our iconic Carnival print in Celeste. The perfect place to settle in, switch off, and let the view do the rest.
