This headset added a collet between the adjusting nut and lock nut, which compresses around the steer tube when the top nut is tightened, gripping the steerer and staying tight. Unlike common radial bearings, we build sealed angular-contact bearings that allow for adjustment as they are used. Rather than wear out, our bearings wear in; like a fine wine or a quality guitar, they get better (and faster) with age.
