Es Footwear- Accel Kevlar. For those who remember , there was a sample of a kevlar accel in the mid / late 90s floating around, but it never saw the light of day . There was a few renditions over the years that released with kevlar ollie patches , but not the full meal deal like we see today . Alot of us have been waiting for this shoe since i wanna say 1996 .....as the wait is over !! Today is a good day !!! The accel is such an iconic shoe , and what every skater from the 90s thinks of when they think of skateboard shoes !!! Bet the house this shoe crosses their mind . A very old and quite uncommon model — I’ve only rarely seen other pairs around. I really like them; they remind me a lot of the Razor (though I’ll admit, I still prefer the Razor). The sole is identical, but unfortunately this one has aged. It’s still flexible, but extremely slippery now…

I could’ve repainted it white, but honestly I think the yellowed effect suits the pair pretty well.

I really like them!

Hay zapatillas que fueron moda, y luego están las éS Accel.
Diseñadas en el 95 por Pierre André para ser la base de todo. Más de 30 años destruyendo los mejores spots del planeta y redefiniendo el skate técnico. Si viste la parte de PJ Ladd en el Wonderful Horrible Life patinando al ritmo de Pulp, sabes perfectamente de lo que hablamos. Esto es historia viva de la calle.
Para celebrar este legado, éS ha reconstruido este mito utilizando Kevlar. Una edición ultra limitada de solo 300 pares en todo el mundo, y en Furtivo hemos sido una de las pocas skate shops seleccionadas.
Solo tenemos 6 pares disponibles. Ni uno más.

This topic is rampant everywhere , well Iam not as passionate as some ,the topic holds weight in any circle of skatebaord culture : Skater owned brands and big corpo in the skateboarding industry/economy . While i simply rock skate-shoes as you see by my page , I hold a special place in my heart for skater owned brands .  These shoes here are minimal in design , but feel amazing on foot . They are super light and TTS.  They are sturdy without being bricks/ chunky  , and altho the tongues are light / medium padding , they really keep that og cupsole puffy shape we all love and crave as og collectors .  Iam not sure what kind of midsole is in here.  For the price it may be egg crate, but if thats the case the insole really does its job and gives great long term comfort / impact protection .  doesnt give egg crate vibes. These shoes arent tech heavy or aimed at crazy style . They are what they are !! A shoe designed for skatebaording that we highly recommend !!!
