Vermont has been out for a YEAR, and I have to say: Posting short-form-content slop on the internet feels like it’s going to immediately give me a brain aneurysm and kill me, but it has changed my life.
I can’t express enough how much I hate seeing 15 seconds of a song I spent months recording overlayed onto footage of a live show. Every person that sees a Wish in Twos video and tells me to write a new song is correct and should be given a big medal that says “I’m the Smartest Baby”, because most of the time, I feel the exact same way. I wish I could pump out songs like Sam @mysterydancemedia and I pump out content. (I need help posting or else I would do that one Full Metal Jacket scene.) But, despite my hatred of social media stuff, when people send videos of them learning my guitar lines, doing complete covers of songs, or when middle aged men post duets of them slurrily yelling over my guitar solos— seemingly off a combination of beer and prescription meds— it is one of the best feelings out there.
I am still proud of the album. Thank you for following us and showing some interest in our stuff.
