Ed and Patricia spoiled us to dinner at @crevette_nyc the night before and feed us the most delicious agnolottis filled with crab the softest tortilla española and a whole dugones crab 🦀 for this crab!
Food and vibes at Dame were perfect cooking with @anabanana_castro is like a dance we’ve done in every past life. How did I get so lucky to find a friend who gives me that much creative freedom and joy? Truly unfair.
•Next day: @strangedelight.nyc to cook two specials for their Live, Laugh, Loaf raising money for @islaimmigration in NOLA a city I love, want to support and can’t get of my mind. The menu? Ridiculous sooo delicious @hamegram is one of the smartest chefs I have ever met and cook with, he’s just so good at it and fun and you can taste all that. Talk about 2016 throwback my camera roll is full of Ham sandwiches, milk bread and hand piped sprinkles together. I was so inspired by the art @anooppillarisetti has at Strange delight but the biggest piece of art in that space is of course the superstar @comme_ci_comme_salmon !
•Last day we had THE power lunch at @leveaudor to stuffed our faces with Pâté en croûte, mackerel au vin blanc, martinis and bathroom selfies.
Not a bad weekend at all, not a bad beginning of the year, blessed my friends that make me the luckiest happiest crab! 🦀
