Big giant thanks to everyone who checked out Rhythm. I appreciate your support so much 🖤

It was one of the largest projects I’ve worked on Ceptre so far. It took me more than a year to go from final v1 to the last final: v87

At some point, It even became a little spiritual journey that taught me a lot about creating. It further solidified my belief that the intentions are the most crucial part of making music, and with that, I knew that chasing “perfection” in the sound is redundant for me and that the character of the sound coming from the earlier mentioned intentions is the thing that I wanna have most prominent in my music. I ended up having so much fun driving the tune through different analogue gear, giving it too much colour, not caring about if it was "correct" just because it was fitting my idea for the story I wanted to tell in this track.

Hii everyone

I am super happy that you are reading this, and I appreciate y’all patience as it has been a while since I was active on the Internet.

First of all, I need to say that I'm really excited about this new thing

And second of all if you're wondering why I'm now creating as a Ceptre, here's a quick explanation

my previous alias (kyroshie) was a big part of me for a very long time.
I first started uploading music there without a specific purpose or message,over time it started to take on meaning and previously mentioned message.
I put all my emotions into many of the songs released on kyroshie and I want to respect the soul of kyroshie

Sadly, due to many changes in my life, I don't have as much time to dedicate to creating music as I had during my time on Kyroshie, but I still want to create the best music I possibly can.

I felt like I needed to come up with something more thoughtful in its conception.
I decided to focus on Drum and Bass as after many thoughts I feel like this genre is closest to what I want to tell.

The "narrowing" of the music choices really helped me to explore the sound of 174 bpm snares more deeply and as a result, helped me to have way more fun when making tunes and paradoxically made it easier for me to expand my sound horizons.

With all this being said I do not officially close Kyroshie but I do stop actively running it, there is a chance for a Kyro release in the future.
It just depends on whenever I'll create a piece that with its core fits on kyro.

(I'm not planning to do a promo on any further release on kyro so if you want to hear any future release just be sure to leave a follow there)

I would like to take this opportunity to say a big biggg thank you to everyone who has supported me on kyroshie, it has been a beautiful journey, with all its ups and downs, it would not have been the same without you.
