Live performance visuals for @iamluckydaye !
Inspired by renaissance paintings and traditional sfumato techniques, or the thin layering of oil paints to create brightness and depth. I love building the image set myself, one layer at a time, translating analog processes into digital image making…
Thank you to the immensely talented and genuine @jaredmroyal for everything, to @sahnahhh for being the best sidekick in facing unexpected curveballs, and to @mollybohas_ & @jeffpantaleo for bringing me on!

Some documentation of the Mixed Reality Tools for Reporters we built at @nytimes R&D! We created a spatial annotation and capture tool which allows for journalists to quickly scan a space in 3D, annotate and photograph it — sharing it with the newsroom in real time for the process of breaking news publishing.

So excited to finally share this beautiful poster my friend @juanprinter made for 'Dedications I-V' now that the festival season is almost over. Although it never screened physically 👩🏻💻, still feeling so honored (with its accompanying imposter syndrome) for all the positive feedback this project has received. It feels real old now and I learned a lot from it, but baby had a great run.
Thanks to the @nycindieff, @rawscience Film Festival, @dumbofilmfestival and @thejellyfest for their selections, to my friends and mentors Dylan Vitone, Golan Levin & Tom Hughes (@orthelious) for their constant support and feedback. And of course, huge shout-out to the talented @alexander_panos for the original soundtrack and to my friend Tre (@dashgeorge) for last minute festival screening sound edits (hire her for your projects!)

Horseshoe maximalism is the social temperament of our times, an emerging cultural temperament that will dominate cultural industries in the coming half-decade. It is what the mid twenty-twenties feel like: a collective realization that we no longer trust our institutions.
The death of establishment narratives of progress gives way to an exhilarating sense of dread—when our systems fail us and we’re more polarized than ever as a society, everything becomes fair game to reexamine, to reimagine or to redo. The possibilities seem as limited and they are limitless. It is now up to us collectively to build a new pantheon of social narratives that give us a shared vision of the future.
It explains why so many cultural trends today, from new age spirituality to prediction markets to alternative financial assets, bring together audiences from the extremes of different social and political ideologies together. These extremes don’t necessarily oppose each other in culture. They can converge, creating new centers from contradiction, giving way to new social configurations of exchange that offer the possibility of building new cultural narratives.
In OAS Dossier 2: The New Pantheon, co-authors @nottonywang, @cdslls, @se.re.na.wa.ng, @victoria.massey, @chrisgayomali, @helenyinchen, @michaelhmyeung investigate the emergence of a social phenomena we call horseshoe maximalism, and explore how political polarization today has given way to new cultural trends that embrace contradiction and extremities. It features quotes from interviews with experts and practitioners including Adina Glickstein, Phillip Pyle, Alan Berliner, Char Stiles, Sammy Sins, and more.
OAS Dossier 2: The New Pantheon is the second edition of OAS’s physical-only, annual research publication, again limited to 1,000 copies. If you’re a friend, or friend of a friend, you can request a copy of the NFC chip version of the publication be shipped to your address. Click on the link in bio to learn more.

Congratulations to Programmers Choice Music Video winner, HANGOVER!
Director: Chloé Desaulles
Screenwriter: Chloé Desaulles
Cast: Charlotte Rose Benjamin
Colorist: @moldyroom
Furniture: @katy_brett
Graphics: @fk.88888
Styling: @chloe.felopulos
The film merges experimental filmmaking techniques, handcrafted and assembled with innovations in 3D capture, live action and analog sets, creating a liminal space between tangible and virtual. The process from shoot to 3D capture, animation, edit and final color spanned 11 months.
HANGOVER's world exists between aesthetic languages—merging photogrammetry, gaussian splatting, and custom machine learning with tangible set design and green screen. Physical environmental cutouts and tactile furniture elements designed by artist Katy Brett, interact with digitally modeled environments and software-painted textures, blurring boundaries between fabrication methods and typically incongruous visual languages.
As the artist navigates these threshold spaces, she embodies the cyclical nature of grief: memory dissolving into reality, heartbreak transforming into release. The work, playing with the individual textures of physical and analog media, captures Benjamin caught in an eternal seasonal and environmental cycle—a pendulum swinging between physical reality and digital ethereality, until she is eventually graced with her own release. #DIFFshorts

Was tapped to creative direct a cultural evening for @vancleefarpels at the @amnh with K2. Can’t show any of the gorgeous work from that night, but it involved a Grammy Award winning composer and an orchestra. Here’s some BTS and me walking around the empty museum late a night. Stunning !
