The Cinci Sing at CCAC 🎼

Are you ready for a little singing challenge with @thecincising? This uplifting and joyful choral workshop sings in glorious 3 and 4-part harmony! We will sing songs from a range of traditions. All parts taught by ear, with no need to read music. We’ll explore what makes a great harmony. And if melody is your jam, you can sing that too. No auditions, no solos. If you like to sing, this is for you.

This class runs for four weeks starting Thursday, June 4th from 7:30 - 8:30 pm.

Food Waste Tie Dye Class 🧅🫜🌰

Learn how to turn old t-shirts into eco-fashion using food waste items like onion skins. Artist Devan Horton teaches us how to collect, engage with the world more mindfully, and how to transform everyday kitchen items into free art materials that not only yield stunning colors but they are good for us, good for the planet, and mostly free.

Each student will work with a provided thrifted t-shirt and take it through each step of the dyeing process including mordanting, creating the dye, and some basic tie dye techniques!

The Rooftop Sessions: Patricia Paz Tango & Folklore 🌇

Join us Thursday night, May 21 at 6:30 pm for a relaxing sunset concert on the roof.

@patriciapaztangobrings the vibrant spirit of Argentina to the stage with her electrifying folklore ensemble, igniting the night with Chacarera, Zamba, Chamamé, and other beloved rhythms from her homeland.

Following the parade, head to Mt. Storm for a community picnic. Enjoy food, music, and crafts with your neighbors.

Monologue Class at CCAC ✒️

In this transformative, beginner-friendly course, students will learn the fundamentals of acting while developing an original monologue rooted in their personal life story. Through guided exercises in storytelling, emotional connection, character development, and stage presence, participants will gain the tools and confidence to bring their truth to life.

Class begins Monday, June 1 at 6:30 - 8:30 pm and runs weekly through the month.

Saturdays in the Park: Summermusik

Join us at 10 am on Saturday, May 16 for a concert at Inwood Park for community, donuts, coffee, and the perfect way to start your weekend!

Founded in 1974, @summermusikcincy with resident ensemble Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra creates intimate, transformative experiences that connect the musically curious. Under the direction of Music Director Eckart Preu, Summermusik provides a unique and educational musical experience in an intimate setting for both seasoned and novice concert patrons.

CCAC’s Eurovision Watch Party 👩‍🎤

Watch the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest taking place in Vienna, Austria on the big screen in the McKillip Theater. We’ll have a European potluck, drinks, voting, prizes, and a lot of fun. The livestream starts at 3:00 pm. Bar and theater open at 2:30 pm. All ages are welcome and we’ll have coloring pages for the kids!

The Rooftop Sessions: The Lady Joya Band 🌇

Join us Thursday night, May 14 at 6:30 pm for a relaxing sunset concert on the roof.

@ladyjoyaband is the signature project for Cincinnati favorite Lady Joya. Backed by six seasoned musicians, she delivers classic R&B, Blues & Soul with the style and sizzle that took her to Memphis and the International Blues Challenge. Her exuberant stage presence and powerful, soulful voice continue to delight audiences with her interpretations of Etta James, Sade, Nina Simone, Koko Taylor and many others. To see Lady Joya perform is to know that joy is not only part of her name, it’s who she is.
