This is our debut statement as a label and platform, a 12 track compilation pulling together artists Cass has championed across his weekly radio show Alternative Selection on BBC Radio 1Xtra, Channel Alt Live music showcases and online, now living together on one project.
Spanning Indie, Electronic, Alt Pop, Alt Rap, R&B and Bedroom Pop, every record on here was hand picked, sourced or produced by Cass himself. It’s his return to making original music and a continuation of the mission that started on radio, unearthing future facing artists and giving them a proper home.
Six singles in and you’ve already had glimpses into Little Me, Seattle Fuzz, Horizon, Loose Change, WHATIMINTO and Clean, but Friday 28th November, the full picture arrives. Twelve different vibes, twelve boundary pushing voices, one project that connects scenes and stories across the UK and beyond. This is what Channel Alt sounds like in album form.
