Hardest but most satisfying piece of Art I’ve made yet...

Thought I’d share the Tracklist and Art for K+Lab Waz here. This project started a year ago the concept was to have a piece of art for each track and for them to create a city / Mega art when put together, technically this was challenging as hell but I just got started and winged it.

All the single artworks were made in @procreate and finished in @photoshop the final project had 1046 layers and my Mac was crawling by the end. Felt like a differentway to do things, it was definitely chaotic by design but also fluid in nature it was enjoyable to see this world unravelled piece by piece.

NZ whanau, teaming up w good friend and collaborator Chunga for a run through Napier, Mt Maunganui and a special Auckland double-header with the homie Ashez. Feels like I don’t get to see much of NZ these days looking forward to reconnecting w everyone and the scene at home.

Been a blessing meeting Chunga, not only a good friend but we’ve been cranking out the tunes, stoked to share more of what we’ve been cooking on this tour.

In 2023 @dailybreadmusic invited me to come on tour so I got a 3 year visa for the states. I ran around like a madman slinging tunes, creating art and sharing moments with the stateside family. Last night those three years of giving it everything I got came to a head and I’m eternally grateful for the opportunity thanks to the legend @griza really special way to wrap things up, so grateful for this chapter, looking forward to taking some time off to build other aspects of art and life. Thank you my US friends, ps you’re welcome to come visit downunda 🚀🙌

2. Stavroz Live in the dusty Sunday Sun.

3. Was there to see my friend @marten_horger play his first Aussie doof (and rip it)

4. Watching my friend @opiuo drop a stomping set and hearing our new tunes on a big rig.

5. Finishing w a filthy halftime flip @chunga_music and I made of @concorddawnnz “Don’t tell me” ft @tikitaane

Bonus moments: Countless catch ups w friends from near and far on one of the best dance floors Australia the country. Thanks Erik and the REL fam ILU.

“My Friends” with my friend Oscar aka Opiuo is officially out worldwide today 🫡

Spent a lot of time w Oscar over the years and of course we got in the studio a bunch but its the hangs with him and the fam that I’ll always cherish, they opened up their home and gave me a bit of a base while touring stateside as have countless others. With all the ups and downs somehow I’ve managed to make this music and art thing work thanks to the ongoing support of so many legends, this one’s for all the Friends 🙏
