Camp Arrowhead in Delaware
The Episcopal Church in Delaware's Camp on the Rehoboth Bay in Lewes

This past weekend I captured Sarah & Daltons beautiful wedding in Delaware at @camparrowhead.
Dalton originally reached out to do a surprise engagement. After chatting for a while we realized we were fraternity brothers from different schools, which made this an extra special wedding for me to capture.
Sarah & Dalton, congratulations on forever.

Today the Snake Pit (formerly H11, H13, & also H5) and the Fox Den (H5, formerly H4) made way for new cabins for the 2026 summer season... and it was epic. Planned change is always good.
To the best of our knowledge, the Snake Pit dated to around 1923 when Mr E. Hall Downs moved his camp here from Silver Lake, and it was possibly floated over with the old Rec Hall (which no outside historical records can support or dispute ever happened.) The Fox Den was built early in Col. Ralph Sasse's Camp Arrowhead era - possibly as early as 1946.
As bunks and counselor cubbies were built into all of our Homestead cabins, the Snake Pit was too small and ultimately deemed unfit for camper quarters in 2019. It had been serving as a storage building.
Among other structural concerns, several rafter beams had begun to split in the Fox Den. They both served us well and now it's time to serve our campers with larger and safer facilities.
