After some minor mods and big rides, I’m loving the way I’ve setup the bike. With the bike being a 155/160 setup, it’s really proving itself as a do it all machine ✔️

It honestly feels like yesterday when your family stepped up to give this kid a warranty replacement for a used bike.

That bike really did change everything.

I’d been a super fan of the Kona Clump since my friends and I first discovered the sport in elementary school, dreaming of one day riding a Stinky or a Cowan on some jumps.

Your good faith and generosity made that dream real and oh boy did I live it!

From being a bike park/dirt jump/slopestyle rat, student, hockey player, racer, freerider, and builder—your team always had my back and encouraged me to just be what I wanted to be- a mountain biker.

Having my own values and expectations of what it meant to represent the brand. I’m proud to say that I stayed true and played out my role in Kona’s story the way I always wanted it.

This spring @konabikes , @calebholonko and the @nsmba set out to refresh a classic!

Vancouver’s steep, technical terrain has shaped mountain biking culture for decades, and maintaining its trail network requires constant efforts.

While the Shore is known for tech, riders are always chasing airtime and brake-free flow. Boogie Nights embodies that pursuit!

Once a hidden loamer and now sanctioned trail, it has become a hub for progression, fun laps, and shared memories.

Built up by hand and shaped through community collaboration, it balances accessibility with challenge.

Today, BN stands as a one- off, multi-level, hand crafted puzzle on the Shore that was only made possible through the dedication of volunteers and partners like @konabikes 🙏

What an incredible stretch of days in New Mexico with @cast_official_ and @bti_usa! Truly appreciate you all for opening up your backyard and giving me a proper taste of what makes this place so special 🙏🍻. From mornings on the trails to evenings spent laughing, swapping stories, and soaking up the local vibes, the whole trip felt like the perfect blend of adventure and good company.

I can’t wait to come back and dive even deeper into everything Santa Fe has to offer. The culture, the scenery, the energy- there’s so much left to explore. But honestly, what sticks with me most right now are the unforgettable laughs, the banter, and the rides with the locals that made me feel right at home. Already counting down the days until the next round!

Scratching The Surface II is live! Link in the Bio 🔗

Last time we did one of these, it was pure fun—just showing up, running around, and somehow
ending up with a solid video. The “plan” was to dig through old Pinkbike posts, hit up local
brains and bike shops for intel, and see what happened. Mission accomplished?

Well… sort of. The original destination was Prince George, but after a quick tour with Corey and
the Red Shreds crew, it was obvious we weren’t going anywhere else. A couple of insane shuttle
laps sealed it—credit card down at the Super 8, and we were rolling the dice with the weather.

There’s something about that mix of woodwork, electric singletrack, and big, floaty airtime in
those perfectly spaced forests that grabs hold of you. The trails buzzed with energy, and I was
hooked. We had to come back for more shuttles, some e-bike laps, and a chance to capture the
absurd amount of fun tucked right outside of town.

I’m a sucker for jangly structures—the sketchier and more alive they feel under your tires, the
better. Honestly, I was floored by the size of the hits, and trying to follow a local at full “trail
speed”? Straight-up terrifying. Those rides make you realize how much trust you put into
someone else’s lines and how quickly you can find yourself committed to enormous sends.

Heading into a project like this, you never really know what you’re going to get. But rolling in
prepared, with the right tool for the job, a 29” Process X with a 180mm Zeb—meant I could line
up for anything. That bike just eats whatever you throw at it.

Even after getting shut down by thunderstorms, I left already itching to get back and sample
more of the goods. This place is a true gem!
