Grateful to @emmanuelfonte and @johncameronent for taking a chance on me playing guitar this Crescendo - loved joining the instrumentalists and adding another level of energy and entertainment to help raise money for children’s mental health supports in Alberta. @calebdnelson providing sound, guitar and percussion services today for “Trillium” - @rosieemacdonald @allisonmariet1981 @songbird03w This is a pay-what-you-will street show, so bring a lawnchair and come! It’s a short show, and there is a food truck and plenty of time for visiting before and after.

The joy on my face for the love of singing does not completely convey the solemn tone of much of the music we are performing tonight at “Blending of Sounds”. I join @kappellakyrie through the year at Thursday rehearsals, and this year we’ve been working with @ariosechoir @axiosmensensemble @verkhovynadunaidancers and @ukrainian_dnipro_choir to bring this show together. I love singing in Ukrainian, and getting the opportunity to premiere new Ukrainian music with these choirs is such a gift. There is still time to make it to the show if you are free tonight!

I was too tired to post last night after a great concert with @chronosvocal - I only took this one photo backstage, but I’m sure there will be more to come! Such a gorgeous weekend of music-making all over the province. . . It’s difficult for me to put into words how much it means to me to be a part of so many projects in so many different styles.

This weekend has been FULL of singing so far, and it’s not over yet. 😅 this afternoon was the first rehearsal for the doctoral recital of @andrewbbortz with a STACKED crew of choral musicians. Thanks for bringing us all together - looking forward to the next one! (We may have reached maximum “Andrew” in this ensemble…)
