《Quantum Shield》 + 🔊
Eternal Ascent Submission

This is my third @_pwnisher_ Challenge entry, but each time I’m challenged to think about how to tell a lot of story in 5 seconds.
For this project, I envisioned a character climbing up an unstable staircase towards something, and a quantum shield protects him from a drone attack.

I did most of the work in C4D, from animating the character to rendering, while the costumes were done in MD and SP, and the smoke spreading from the shield was rendered in EmberGen and composited in AE.
For the environment design, I had help from @kitbash3d and @bigmediumsmall_
This project was the longest I‘ve ever spent in AE.
It was very interesting and fun to render the main scene, shields, smoke, etc. separately and then composite the different sources together.
